About the Film

After her mother's death, Renee, an agnostic Asian American, meets Sam, a Christian Astronomer. Although she's convinced she should be alone, Sam grows on her, and she lets him in. Then Renee is diagnosed with cancer and she pushes him away. Unable to give up, Sam breaks through and shows Renee a love she's never felt before. Renee goes into remission and just when life seems good, tragedy deals her another blow. Can she finally choose to let faith carry her through?

I hope it's a story that will spark soul-searching and good conversation about what's important to each of us to have a meaningful life."
